My recent stay at Ramada left much to be desired. The room was clean but lacked the modern updates I typically enjoy during my travels from Vancouver. The outdated feel of the hotel was reminiscent of an old motel, not quite up to par with what I expect. The front desk experience was subpar, requiring a lengthy call to customer service and a room change due to a malfunctioning television. However, the receptionist handled the situation admirably.On a positive note, the hotel does offer a fitness center and free Wi-Fi, which are essential for my work as an eco-resort reviewer. The free parking was also convenient, as I often travel with my family. While the value proposition may seem attractive initially, the overall experience did not match the cost. As a father who frequently integrates family trips into my work, I would hesitate to recommend Ramada as a top choice for future stays.
